𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟑𝐫𝐝 is a day of two halves: we are celebrating 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲 and 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲.
We came together for a warm and relaxed evening dedicated to Shakespeare. We gathered to read, recite, and even sing selected works, creating a space that felt both meaningful and welcoming.
For some, English is a native language. For others, it’s one we’ve learned over time. But for all of us, it’s a language that connects - a bridge across cultures, experiences, and ideas.
Cheers to the Bard -and to all of us.
Thank you to all the professors and students who were part of this Shakespeare night!
