On September 26, 2025, students from Vilniaus Žemynos Progimnazija will visit Anglistikos akademija at Vilnius University to take part in a special educational event focused on the English language, literature, and culture.

09:20–09:40 – Grant Matthew Rosson: From Peril to Poetry: The Many Faces of Nature in American Literature
09:40–10:00 – Jekaterina Šukalova: Gaming as a Window into Language and Culture
10:00–10:30 – Tea break, faculty tour, and summary discussion
10:35 – Event conclusion

During the visit, students will be introduced to the field of English philology—what it is, why it matters today, and how it remains relevant in a world shaped by artificial intelligence. The sessions will be led by Vilnius university lecturers.
